Bachelor of Education - B.Ed

In India, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a course that is ideal and necessary for those interested in pursuing a career in teaching. Nowadays, the B.Ed degree is mandatory for any candidate who is interested to teach at the secondary (classes 9 and 10) and higher secondary (10+2 or classes 11 and 12). A B.Com or Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) is required to enroll for B.Ed program. Eligibility for B.Ed

The Right to Free and Compulsory Education for Children (RTE Act 2009) was introduced in April 2010. The act has been introduced to provide quality education for every child. To maintain the quality of education in schools, eligibility for B.Ed is 50% in Graduation for those candidates in the General Category and 45% in Graduation for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
