Eligibility Criteria for Admission to GNM

1. Minimum age for admission will be 17 year (as on 31st December of that year) the upper age limit is 35 yrs. For ANM/for LHV. There is no age bar.
2. A 10+2 class passed or its equivalent with aggregate of 40% marks, can take admission in various nursing colleges.
3. Or, who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
4. ANM training i.e. 10+1½ year training should also have passed +2 or its equivalent examination.
5. 5% relaxation for SC/ST students.
6. Physical fitness is mandatory.

A.N.M. Nursing Training in India

1. The minimum age for admission is 15 years on or before 31st Dec of the year in which admission is sought.
2. Higher Secondary Pass school certificate is mandatory. Examination (12 year course), 12th class or central board secondary education or a recognized equivalent to those prescribed by the CBSE for the class XII.
3. Has to clear medical fitness test.
